Platform Specialty Products Corp acquired Alent for $2.2bn.

Platform Specialty Products Corp, US specialty chemical products holding company, has made an offer to acquire entire issued and to be issued share capital of Alent plc, UK provider of advanced surface treatment plating chemicals and electronics assembly materials.The offer price is Stg5.03 per each Alent plc share what values the entire share capital at Stg1.35bn ($2.26bn) including net debt Stg108.3m. The transaction has been completed.
