Renesas Electronics has completed its acquisition of Intersil for $3.2bn.

Renesas Electronics, a premier supplier of advanced semiconductor solutions, has completed its acquisition of Intersil, a leading provider of innovative power management and precision analogue solutions for $3.2bn. Together, Renesas’ and Intersil’s deep expertise across a number of state-of-the-art technologies and end markets will enable the combined company to become a complete solution provider of embedded systems to customers.
