Downer EDI, an integrated services company, completed the acquisition of Spotless Group, an integrated facility services provider, for $1.2 bn. "We have now the opportunity to fully take the opportunities which Spotless provides, which is a very key part of our urban services strategy in the facilities area and Spotless is the major player in both Australia and New Zealand in that space. It's a very important strategic acquisition. It's now up to us to make that work," Grant Fenn, Downer EDI CEO.
