IFM Investors, an Australian investment management company, completed the acquisition of a 40% stake in Mersin Uluslararasi Liman Isletmeciligi, a port services provider, for $869m. “Mersin International Port marks the fund’s first investment in the seaports sector and is an important sectoral and geographic diversification. The port represents an attractive investment opportunity for GIF with revenues denominated in US dollars, and commercially negotiated tariffs,” Kyle Mangini, IFM Investors’ Global Head of Infrastructure.
