Sale by Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. of its electric battery operations and production facilities to GSR Go Scale Capital, a Chinese private investment fund. The transaction includes the sale of Nissan’s lithium-ion battery joint venture with NEC Corporation, Automotive Energy Supply Corporation (AESC), along with Nissan’s battery manufacturing operations in Japan, the United States and the United Kingdom.
