Visma acquired Admincontrol from Hercules Capital for £38m

Admincontrol, a cloud-based provider of Virtual Data Rooms, was founded in Norway in 2005 by Ståle Løvbukten and Ivar Kroghrud. Admincontrol established itself in Denmark in 2010 and subsequently established itself throughout the Nordic region and selected markets elsewhere in Europe. According to newspaper reports, Visma is rumored to have paid NOK 400 million, making Hercules Capital Realize 3x return on the 2015 Investment of NOK 180M. Admincontrol main products include web-based solutions for secure and easy sharing of sensitive documents for companies, with the products Board portal and Dataroom.
