Spectris completed the acquisition of Concept Life Sciences from Equistone for $232m.

Spectris, the productivity-enhancing instrumentation and controls company, completed the acquisition of Concept Life Sciences, an international scientific laboratory and consultancy business working in the life, food, and environmental sciences, from Equistone Partners, a mid-market private equity firm, for $232m. "Concept Life Sciences is a high-quality services business which further strengthens our portfolio and enhances our ability to provide customers within the pharmaceutical, life sciences and advanced materials sectors with a combined product and service proposition," John O’Higgins, Spectris CEO.
