Hanson Australia completed the acquisition of Alex Fraser Group from John Swire & Sons for $209m.

Hanson Australia, an Australian provider of construction materials, completed the acquisition of Alex Fraser Group, that provides quality recycled road base and crushed aggregate products, from John Swire & Sons, a Hong Kong- and London-based diversified conglomerate, for $209m. “The acquisition of Alex Fraser represents an important step for Hanson Australia, as we continue to look at strategic opportunities in sectors where there are obvious synergies and growth prospects,” Phil Schacht, Hanson Australia CEO.
