Capital Dynamics completed the acquisition of 8point3 from First Solar and SunPower for $1.7bn.

Capital Dynamics, an independent, global asset manager, investing in private equity, private credit and clean energy infrastructure, completed the acquisition of 8point3, a limited partnership that owns, operates and acquires solar energy generation projects, from First Solar, a global provider of comprehensive photovoltaic solar systems that use module and system technology, and SunPower, a solar solutions and services company, for $1.7bn.
