Essendant terminated the $680m merger with S.P. Richards and GPC.

Essendant, a national distributor of workplace items, terminated the $680m merger with S.P. Richards, a business products wholesaler and GPC, a global distributor of automotive and industrial replacement parts. In connection with the termination, GPC is entitled to a $12m break-up fee.
