Cognita Schools acquired Woodland Group. Woodland Pre-Schools was founded in 1978 and for 40 years has set the standard for quality international pre-school education in Hong Kong. The group offers classes for more than 2,600 children aged between six months and six years across nine campuses, located across Hong Kong Island and in Sai Kung. Financial terms were not disclosed. Michael Drake, CEO of Cognita Asia said: “I am delighted to be welcoming Woodland Pre-Schools to the Cognita family. All our schools around the world have a shared focus – achieving academic excellence, building character and fostering a global mindset. And for us this focus can start at a very early age."
