National Oilwell Varco, an American multinational corporation based in Houston, acquired the business of Drillmec, which engages in the design, manufacture, and distribution of drilling and work over rigs for the onshore and offshore oil and gas industries, in Italy, the U.S. and Belarus. Financial terms were not disclosed.
