PayPal completed the acquisition of Hyperwallet for $400m.

PayPal, an American multinational financial technology company operating an online payments system, completed the acquisition of Hyperwallet, a financial technology company that provides a global payout platform to enable localized, multi-currency distribution to just about anywhere in the world, for $400m. “Ecommerce platforms and marketplaces have been focused on creating frictionless experiences for sellers to accept payments from buyers – an area where PayPal and Braintree have really innovated, powering many of the world’s largest and most noteworthy marketplaces.
