Messer and CVC Capital Partners formed a Joint Venture.

Messer, a manufacturer and supplier of oxygen, nitrogen, special gases and a wide variety of gas mixtures, and CVC Capital Partners finalized a formation of the joint venture. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We intend to fully integrate the joint venture into the family-run Messer Group within a few years. In the medium term, we want to use the merger of the two companies to become a global player again with a presence in the relevant industrial gas markets,” Stefan Messer, Messer Group Owner and CEO.
