AmRest acquires Sushi Shop Group SAS from NaxiCap

AmRest, a European fast-food and casual dining restaurant operator, acquires Sushi Shop Group SAS, a chain of Japanese cuisine restaurants in France, from NaxiCap Partners, an investment firm specializing in direct and fund of fund investments, for EUR 240m. As a result of the transaction AmRest will become an owner of the leading European chain of Japanese cuisine restaurants comprising of 165 stores, of which about one third are restaurants run by franchisees.
