Brookfield completed the acquisition of Forest City for $11.4bn.

Brookfield Asset Management completed the acquisition of Forest City Realty Trust, a real estate investment trust that invested in office buildings, shopping centers and apartments, for $11.4bn. The purchase price represents a premium of 26.6% over Forest City's closing share price of $20.03 on June 15, 2018. “Forest City has created a high-quality portfolio of operating and development assets over its 100-year history.
