Shearwater completed the acquisition of Schlumberger marine seismic business for £465m

Shearwater GeoServices, a software company, completed the acquisition of the marine seismic assets and operations of WesternGeco, the geophysical services product line of Schlumberger for £465m. “We are now an industry-leading full-range geophysical services company with a solid financial and strategic platform.
