Synopsis
SoftBank, a Japanese multinational investment holding company, and ZhongAn, a Chinese online-only insurance company, agreed to form a $200m joint venture. "After SoftBank's investment into ZhongAn's IPO, they saw that our technology could be exported to some of their portfolio investments, so they wanted to set up this joint venture," Francis Tang, ZhongAn CFO.
