Group la Francaise to acquire Veritas Group from Augur Capital.

Groupe La Française has acquired 100% of the shares in the Veritas Group, which has assets under management of around EUR 8 billion. The acquisition includes financial services institution Veritas Institutional and investment management company Veritas Investment. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The cross-border transaction is currently awaiting approval from the competent regulators and is also subject to the fulfilment of certain other conditions precedent. Closing is scheduled for 2018. The Veritas Group has been operating successfully in the German market since 1991 as an investment management company. As an asset management boutique, Veritas focuses on portfolio management for institutional and private investors that features innovative risk management. Veritas’ product range includes a number of actively managed equity, multi-asset and ETF funds of funds.
