Agilent acquired ACEA Biosciences for $250m

Agilent Technologies Inc. acquired ACEA Biosciences Inc. in $250 million all-cash transaction. Founded in 2002, ACEA is a pioneer in the development and commercialization of high performance cell analysis platforms for life science research. The acquisition of ACEA allows Agilent to add a differentiated portfolio and organizational capabilities in the fast-growing cell analysis market and to expand its footprint in China.
