RETHMANN, which provides water and recycling management, completed the acquisition of a 30% stake in Transdev, an operator and global integrator of mobility, from Veolia, which operates utility and public transportation businesses, for £302m ($384m). Concurrently, the RETHMANN has contributed its passenger public transport activities in Germany to Transdev, via a 4% reserved capital increase. After completion of the capital increase, the RETHMANN will hold 34% of Transdev’s capital. “We are delighted to become a long-term partner of Caisse des Dépôts Group with the aim of driving forward Transdev’s industrial development.
