Elliott Management Corporation added more 2.9% percent of capital of Alps Electric Company Ltd

Elliott Management Corporation, private equity investment fund, added more 2.9% percent of capital to its 6.26 percent of stake of Alps Electronics Company Limited, the worldwide producer of electronic equipment. Some sources say that the deal was done because of the wish of Alps Electronics Company Limited to acquire more stock in one of its subsidiaries named Alpine Electronics Inc, a car navigation manufacturer, also owned by Elliott Management Corporation.
