Albioma sold its anaerobic digestion business in France to Evergaz and Meridiam.

Albioma, an independent renewable energy producer in thermal biomass and photovoltaics, sold its anaerobic digestion business in France to Evergaz, an integrated operator specialising in biogas production and usage development, and Meridiam, an independent investment firm specialising in the development, financing and management of longterm, sustainable public infrastructure projects. Financial terms were not disclosed. Alain Planchot, Chief Executive Officer of Evergaz said: “These acquisitions are perfectly in line with Evergaz's vision of building a platform of specialised expertise in the ownership and management of biogas plants in France and Europe. Evergaz looks forward to working with the local partners of the three units to ensure that these sites fully meet the economic, environmental and social challenges of the territories in which they operate.”
