Cerberus acquired Sparton Corporation for $182m.

Synopsis

Cerberus acquired Sparton Corporation, provider of electromechanical devices, for $18.50 per share in cash or $182m in total. The $18.50 per share consideration represents a premium of approximately 41% over Sparton’s closing share price on December 11, 2018. The Sparton Board of Directors has unanimously approved the agreement and recommends that the Company’s shareholders approve the transaction.
