Ascendant Capital Partners, a private equity firm, acquired a stake in China Automation Group, an investment holding company, which provides safety and critical control systems in the People’s Republic of China, the United States, Japan, and Singapore, from Araco by way of an exchangeable bond. The purchase price is HKD360m.
