Ernst & Young acquired Karrikins Group for up to $20.5m.

Synopsis

Ernst & Young, a multinational professional services firm, acquired Karrikins Group, a global behavior change company that aligns leadership and organizations to accelerate transformational change, for up to $20.5m. CEO and Managing Partner EY Oceania, Tony Johnson said: “Our research shows that 97% of investors look at environmental, social and governance information, as well as financial information when making their investment decisions, up from 52% in 2015. It has never been more important for corporations to ensure they are meeting their social obligations. This acquisition is an example of EY strategically adding the right people and services to support our clients in the areas they need now or will need in the future. We are delighted to welcome the team from Karrikins to EY.”
