Sony Interactive Entertainment completed the acquisition of Audiokinetic.

Sony Interactive Entertainment, a multinational video game and digital entertainment company, completed the acquisition of Audiokinetic, a Canadian software company based in Montreal, Quebec that develops audio software for the video game industry. Financial terms were not disclosed. "A rich and all-encompassing audio experience is increasingly critical to the overall gameplay experience, further enhancing immersion and emotion for the player.
