Macquarie Infrastructure Partners completed the acquisition of Bluebird Network.

Macquarie Infrastructure Partners, an investment fund, completed the acquisition of Bluebird Network, a provider of internet and fiber transport services. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We are very pleased to partner with Bluebird’s experienced management team as MIP expands its portfolio of investments in communications infrastructure. As bandwidth needs continue to increase, fiber has become the essential backbone for high-performance connectivity networks.
