CBPE Capital completed the acquisition of Simbec-Orion from Arix.

CBPE Capital, a private equity firm, completed the acquisition of Simbec-Orion, a healthcare services provider, from Arix Biosience, a global venture capital company. Financial terms were not disclosed. “When Simbec-Orion was formed through the merger of Simbec Research and Orion Clinical in June 2014, it provided the base to create a growing CRO in the European mid-market. Since then, we have developed a strategy and a clearly defined and differentiated offering for our biotech and pharmaceutical clients. We are delighted to be working with CBPE to realise our ambitions for the future growth of the Company,” Ronald Openshaw, Simbec-Orion Chief Executive.
