Kurita, a Japanese manufacturer, providing water treatment chemicals and facilities as well as process treatment chemicals, acquired a 25% stake in Pentagon Technologies Group, which operates a precision tool cleaning business in the United States. Financial terms were not disclosed. As a result of this acquisition, Pentagon Technologies Group is now one of Kurita's equity method affiliates.
