Twitter has acquired the staff at Highly, a developer of web-based tools used to highlight, summarize and share information. Financial terms were not disclosed. Highly is the web-browser tool to update highlight the web to share the important parts. Founded in 2014, the company had raised $1.75m in prior seed funding from Bascom Ventures, Resolute Ventures and other backers.
