Saputo completed the acquisition of Kirin's cheese business in Australia for $179m.

Saputo completed the acquisition of the specialty cheese business of Lion-Dairy & Drinks, a subsidiary of Kirin Holdings, for $197m, on a cash-free and debt-free basis will be paid in cash at closing from cash on hand and available credit facilities. The specialty cheese business will enable Saputo’s Dairy Division (Australia) to diversify its product offering further, adding to and complementing its current activities.
