Symrise to acquire Cutech.

Symrise, a producer of flavours and fragrances, agreed to acquire Cutech, a designer and developer of skin and hair follicle screening models. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We have decided to closer collaborate with Symrise as both partners can benefit from the union. Symrise acquires considerable know-how in the prediction of the effectiveness of cosmetic ingredients. Cutech will benefit from the broad research base at Symrise and its technological resources. This will lead to a faster development of effective cosmetic ingredients. We look forward with excitement to our joint projects,” Paolo Pertile, Cutech CEO.
