Coop completed the acquisition of Netto Marknad Sverige from Salling Group.

Coop, the largest retailer of consumer goods in Denmark, completed the acquisition of Netto Marknad Sverige, operator of Swedish stores of the Danish Netto, from Salling Group, Denmark's largest retail group. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Today we are taking a historic step when we at Coop Stores & Supermarkets go from 240 to 400 stores. Netto has skillfully built up a strong store network in southern Sweden, which we now look forward to investing in and developing further as Coop," Christian Wijkström, Coop CEO.
