GCI Managed Services Group, a portfolio company of Mayfair Equity Partners agreed to acquire Modality Systems from Premiere Global Services. Financial terms were not disclosed. Modality Systems is a provider of communications and collaboration software and services. Modality is a dedicated Microsoft communications practice, providing communications and collaboration services to over 5 million people, in more than 1000 public and private organizations, in over 100 countries. The Company helps global organizations realize and extend the business value, and transformational impact of Microsoft’s evolving communications and collaboration suite. “The acquisition of Modality Systems provides GCI and its customers with established scale and support internationally. Geographically, it expands the ability of the combined companies to service larger, global companies and additionally widens key new markets in the USA, Australia and Asia where Modality has already established sales and delivery capability for enterprise customers,” Adrian Thirkill, GCI CEO.
