Lippert Components offered to buy Lewmar Marine for £33m.

Lippert Components, the leading supplier of highly engineered products for the European leisure and caravanning industries, offered to buy Lewmar Marine, which manufactures and sells leisure marine equipment, for £33m. Commenting on the Acquisition, Jason Lippert, CEO of LCI, said: "We are pleased to make this Acquisition of Lewmar, which is very complementary to our existing businesses in the UK. We believe that there will be significant operational and strategic benefits through the combination of the very experienced and knowledgeable management team at Lewmar and our own expertise."
