ASTM, a motorway management company, offered to acquire Societa Iniziative Autostradali e Servizi, a motorway construction company, for $1.4bn. The main objective of the transaction is establishing a listed industrial holding which, operating as a “One Company” listed on the stock market, with specific capabilities in motorways’ concessions, in construction, in engineering and in technological innovation.
