Verdoso to acquire Carelide from Macopharma Group.

Verdoso, french investment group, to acquire Carelide, Macopharma's perfusion business, from Macopharma Group, a global leader in infusion, transfusion and biotherapy systems. Financial terms were not disclosed. The objective of the investor is repositioning these infusion activities on high margin products. "We will analyze each product one by one, and we will separate from those that are loss-making and whose manufacturing cost can not be reduced or the selling price increased to become profitable," Franck Ullmann, founder, Verdoso.
