Synopsis

SoftBank Vision Fund, a subsidiary of SoftBank, invested $250m in Ola Electric, an electric vehicle company backed by Indian ride-hailing platform Ola. The latest funding is expected to have made Ola Electric a unicorn, or a startup valued at more than $1bn. SoftBank is now the single largest investor in Ola with about a 26% stake.
