Costa Food Group completed the acquisition of Embutidos La Nuncia.

Costa Food Group, a meat processing firm, completed the acquisition of Embutidos La Nuncia, a family-run company engaged in the production, sale and distribution of fresh and part-processed pig products. Financial terms were not disclosed. This move has followed on from the recent expansion of Costa Food Meat, through the purchase of the Cárnicas Solá (Gurb, Barcelona) production centre, whose a processing capacity of 75k tons of meat/year will enable the group to access new export markets, particularly in Asia.
