Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, a financial services firm, completed the acquisition of UK based private equity firm TT International for $188m. SMBC has designated the asset management business focus for its current medium term management plan and is undertaking efforts to strengthen this business segment. This acquisition would help SMFG to strengthen its management capabilities and attract investors.
