Synopsis

InfraVia Capital Partners, a private equity firm, completed the acquisition of a 51% stake in Violin, an SPV dedicated to FTTH roll-out outside very dense areas, from Iliad, a French provider of telecommunication services, for €600m. “The French market is characterized by high demand for fiber across the whole country. Our partnership with InfraVia is an excellentway of accelerating ourrollouts so that Free can offerthe best speeds to 26 million households as soon as possible, in linewith the objectives of our Odyssey plan," Thomas Reynaud, Iliad CEO.
