Oakover Vineyards to acquire Houghton winery from Accolade.

Oakover Vineyards, a manufacturer of wines, brandy, and brandy spirits, agreed to acquire Houghton winery, an Australian winery, from Accolade, a producer and distributor of wines. Financial terms were not disclosed. Under the terms of the agreement, Oakover Vineyards will acquire the winemaking facility at Middle Swan along with the adjoining cellar door and vineyard. “We are very excited to have this opportunity to bring the ownership of the Swan estate back to Western Australia. The family bought the land that Oakover Grounds sits on from Houghton winery 30 years ago, and now we’re finally putting the entire plot back together again,” Graeme Yukich, Oakover Vineyards Executive Chairman.
