Pluspetrol to acquire SK Innovation's stakes in two Peruvian gas fields for $1bn.

Pluspetrol, that develops and produces high pressured gas, agreed to acquire a 17.6% stake in two Peruvian gas fields from SK Innovation, a South Korea refiner, for $1bn. Proceeds of the sale will be use to finance investments in other promising energy sectors, including battery and materials business, and expand its presence in the Asian and North American markets.
