Acadia Professional to acquire Toro Risk Consulting Group.

Acadia Professional, one of the nation's largest medical professional liability agencies, agreed to acquire Toro Risk Consulting Group, a highly-specialized healthcare consulting firm that primarily works with emerging companies to support providers in value-based care programs. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Traditional medical malpractice risk can no longer be viewed in a silo. Toro brings a deeper understanding of value-based care and new market access that allows us to better position our clients from a risk perspective," Scott Parker, President of Acadia.
