Axian Group-led consortium to acquire a 51% stake in Togocom.

Synopsis

A consortium led by Axian Group, a holding company owned by the Hiridjee family, agreed to acquire a 51% stake in Togocom, Togo’s state telecommunications company, at a $353m valuation. Agou Holding plans to invest $271m in the company over the next seven years to improve international connectivity and expand Togocom's high-speed fibre and mobile networks, Togo's government said in a statement.
