EQT-backed Antas, an energy savings contracting company with a focus on the public sector in Northern Italy, completed the acquisition of Energy Wave, a provider of energy-efficient heating solutions to large buildings with centralized heating systems, from Ambienta, a European sustainability-focused investment fund. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Energy services, especially for the residential sector, have become increasingly strategic for multi-utilities that are striving to enter into new and profitable market segments which are driven by sustainable growth trends.
