Kinetic Technologies completed the acquisition of MegaChips Smart Connectivity division.

Kinetic Technologies, that designs, develops and markets proprietary high-performance analog power and protection semiconductors, completed the acquisition of smart connectivity division of MegaChips, a semiconductor company. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The addition furthers Kinetic’s strategy of developing and acquiring high-performance technology which relies on our system architecture expertise. We see the Smart Connectivity products as highly complementary to Kinetic’s portfolio with demand at our existing top-tier OEM customer base,” Kin Shum, Kinetic Technologies CEO.
