CVS Health to acquire IlliniCare Health Plan from Centene.

CVS Health, an American healthcare company, agreed to acquire IlliniCare Health Plan, a Medicaid health plans provider, from Centene, a diversified, multi-national healthcare enterprise. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Expanding our Medicaid and Medicare Advantage presence in Illinois will allow us to serve more members with our proven holistic approach that addresses physical, behavioral and social determinants of care.
