Arconic completed the spin-off into two entities Arconic Corp and Howmet Aerospace.

Arconic, a lightweight metals manufacturer, completed the spin-off into two entities Arconic and Howmet Aerospace. Arconic Rolled Products will be renamed as Arconic, and businesses comprising Arconic engineered products will remain in the existing company, which will be renamed Howmet Aerospace. Arconic will be an aluminum products company, centered on rolled products, extrusions, and architectural products and systems. Howmet Aerospace’s primary businesses will focus on jet engine components, aerospace and industrial fasteners, and structural parts for airplanes and defense, as well as forged aluminum wheels for commercial transportation.
